Terex Cranes has announced the appointment of a new senior sales manager for the Middle East, who will be taking charge of leading the company’s strategies and day-to-day activities in the region.

Jorg Muller, who will take over the position, joins Terex from Aurubis Middle East, a company specialised in flat rolled products, where he was general manager and senior sales manager, said a statement from Terex Cranes. Prior to that, Muller was Middle East sales manager for Liebherr tower cranes.

Carsten von der Geest, VP, Sales and Service, for Terex Cranes’ EMEAR region, said: “Jorg joins us with a wealth of experience in the cranes industry and thorough knowledge of the business in this key market. He will be focused on our customers and make sure we are responsive to their requests.”

Muller’s appointment follows a slew of other new appointments at Terex Cranes that have seen the company revamp its top management. Steve Filipov took over as the new president of Terex Cranes in late October and the company last month also announced Ingo Nöske as the new director of product management for crawler cranes and Dr. Ascan Klein as the new director of competency centre technology platforms for Terex Cranes.
