Terex appoints new global sales director for tower cranes

Lee Maynard to be responsible for long-term growth and strategies for worldwide tower crane market

Terex Cranes has announced the appointment of Lee Maynard as the new global sales director for its tower cranes division.

Having previously served as the director of mobile crane sales for Europe and Russia at Terex, Maynard will continue in his present position of general manager for the UK and Ireland until a successor is found, said the manufacturer.

In his new position, Maynard will be based in Terex Global’s offices in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, where he will be responsible for developing long-term strategies and identifying growth opportunities in the global tower crane market.

According to Terex Cranes, Maynard will also take over management duties for the global Terex tower cranes sales team in the EMEAR, North America, East Asia and Australia and New Zealand regions.

A qualified engineer, Maynard previously worked at German crane and excavator manufacturer Atlas before Terex. Terex acquired Atlas in 2001.
