Transguard Group bags over $68mn in facilities management contracts

A partnership with one of Dubai’s leading property developers was highlighted as a key win for the firm

Transguard Group’s facilities management (FM) division has booked approximately $68mn in new contracts. The wins are said to have come from several prestigious partnerships with two of the largest property developers in the UAE.

Dr. Abdulla al Hashimi, CEO, Transguard Group said, “This is a strong start to our financial year, especially for our FM division but also across the business as a whole. The team’s performance over the last few weeks has been nothing short of exemplary and we anticipate even greater growth in the coming months.”

The firm said a new partnership with one of Dubai’s leading property developers was a key contract win. Mobilising this month, Transguard’s FM division is responsible for cleaning a racing facility at the heart of the city with up to 400 professionals, it stated.

In April 2022, FM firm Farnek said it was launching a standalone hotel management company.

On the other hand, Transguard’s consumer division, Transguard Living, was selected to provide maintenance services to a gated community with Mediterranean and Moroccan-style villas. The three-year contract, which will see Transguard’s Consumer Management team working across more than 350 villas, runs until May 2025.

Providing soft FM services to one of the world’s largest and most famous malls was another highlight of the first quarter. The contract, which mobilises in November 2022 and will run until 2025, will see over 800 staff deployed throughout the location, the company said.

“Transguard’s FM team is proud to offer its best-in-class standards to these iconic locations. This growth in our portfolio is a direct reflection of Transguard’s professionalism and excellent service levels,” says Saeed al Marzouqi, Acting Managing Director, Transguard Group

In June, Emrill expanded its in-house service offering with rope access cleaning services.

Other noteworthy contracts include a major metro management company, a Turkish hotel chain, a prominent emirati retail conglomerate, as well as a Dubai-based family-owned business with operations in trading, as well as property development and management, the firm explained.

It has also been appointed by Dubai’s newest sports facility to provide cleaning services at its centre. Another win sees the firm providing cleaning and MEP services to one of the UAE’s leading property developers for its newest community project, sales pavilion and food market, the firm concluded.

In July, a FM services contract for a PPP school project in Saudi Arabia was awarded to SNC-Lavalin.
