Omnix International announces new VP of Engineering and Foundation Technologies

Simran Bagga has over 27 years of experience and will be responsible for spearheading innovative go-to-market strategies, and strengthening partners and customers digital journeys

Simran Bagga has been promoted to Vice President of Omnix Engineering and Foundation Technologies, according to solution provider Omnix International. As part of her new role, she is responsible for accelerating the company’s growth and leading its solutions ecosystem.
The firm said the move is in line with its plans to double down on its growth strategies, regional investments and driving closer partner and customer engagements. Omnix International said it has over 35 years of experience in providing digital infrastructure, digital transformation, computer-aided engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing and managed services to customers around the globe.
Explaining her role further, Omnix noted that she is responsible for strengthening relationships with technology partners and customers, and building its solutions and services portfolio across multiple markets in the region. She also oversees the launch of new products and services through a streamlined process designed to help regional partners and customers thrive in today’s dynamic digital landscape, the firm pointed out.

Bagga is a seasoned IT industry professional with over 27 years of work experience in leading global technology companies such as HP, Compaq, IBM, Cambium Networks and Microsoft.

Late in June, Omnix and Abu Dhabi Municipality said that they had collaborated to push a mandate relating to infrastructure projects, while in July, Omnix Engineering’s Bhaskar Raman told Middle East Construction News (MECN) that “the convergence of digital twins and the Metaverse brings in tools for data generation and behavior prediction”.
