Egis appoints new country managing director for Saudi Arabia

The firm has been operating in the Kingdom for over 15 years and has worked on projects such as the Riyadh Metro, Riyadh Airport and Green Riyadh

Bob Hope has been appointed as the new country managing director for Saudi Arabia, Egis has announced. In his role, he will be leading the development and growth of the group in the Kingdom. The firm said it is also in the process of opening its flagship offices in Riyadh, which will be its largest footprint in the Middle East.

According to a statement from the firm, the appointment comes at a time when the firm is working on significant growth plans in the Kingdom in various areas including consulting, engineering, project management, smart mobility and operations.

Egis notes that Hope has held multiple senior leadership positions in the Middle East with key engineering and architecture firms. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Construction Management and is an alumnus of Harvard’s Building Global Business and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Building. He also has extensive experience in leading the delivery of regional complex projects in the fields of infrastructure, urban planning and buildings, the statement noted.

Hope’s appointment will reinforce the position of Egis in Saudi Arabia and will enable the company to achieve its ambitious growth plan in the kingdom, the statement concluded.
