ABM Group signed a contract with ePROMIS Middle East & Africa to implement construction-specific ERP software to support their growing technology needs and to increase visibility, transparency and information exchange across the organization. With the successful completion of ePROMIS ERP implementation, ABM group is now able to take advantage of key technologies that are vital for sustainable business growth.

Officials of ePROMIS MEA and ABM Group were present at the project sign-off event held at ABM Group’s head office in Dubai. “ABM Group has an excellent reputation in the construction and engineering industry,” said V. V. Vaidyanathan, Group Finance Manager of ABM. “The market is dynamic and unique challenges to be faced every day; it was inevitable to choose an industry-specific ERP software from a reputed software company that understands the Middle East construction and contracting industry. ePROMIS was selected due to the strength of its project-based ERP system, and its reputation as a leading ERP consulting and systems integration company” Vaidyanathan observed.

At Al Basti & Muktha and Bilt Middle East, ePROMIS ERP software replaced many legacy software systems. According to Gigi Varghese, the Senior Project Manager – ePROMIS MEA, the new ERP system would empower the group to streamline processes and improve the ability to manage assets and consolidate business processes across its subsidiaries. “Project cost reporting, profitability analysis, progress tracking, budget controls, earned value management, cost value reconciliation, subcontract management, built-in BI dashboards are our specific capabilities for the construction sector” he added.

ABM Group, established in 1974 is amongst the leading building and civil construction firms in the Middle East. “ABM Group continuously contributes to the rapidly changing face of Dubai,” MD Narayan, Executive Director of ABM Group remarked. “Emaar Properties awarded us the construction contract for its Dubai Creek Residences project in Dubai Creek Harbour; this master-planned community is three times the size of Downtown Dubai and is currently in the final stages of completion,” Executive Director Narayan said. Old Town District of Downtown Dubai, the Grand Hyatt hotel project in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and One & Only in the Palm & Grosvenor house are some of the other distinguished projects completed by ABM Group.

The newly implemented ePROMIS ERP will unite people, processes, and information and connects all core business processes at ABM Group– including procurement and inventory management, project and resource planning, human capital management, and multi-currency and multi-company financial management.
