Luxury project in Meydan community scheduled to be completed by 2022, developer says

Work on the $5.7 billion Royal Pearls luxury project being developed at the Meydan community in Dubai, UAE is progressing at a steady pace, the developer has said.

In a statement, Oriental Pearls Real Estate Developers said that 10% of Phase One has already been completed, and that the project is well on its way for completion by 2022. Built in an area of landscaped features and greenery, the Royals Pearls project is a residential development that is at a vantage point in the Meydan masterplan, in Nad Al Sheba and with easy access to four major highways – Al Ain Road (E66), Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), Al Khail Road (E44) and Emirates Road (E611).

The project offers smart, networked and ultra-modern living spaces in an upscale location that is within easy reach of key urban hotspots, the developer said. The 4.6 million sqft master-planned development has 8,000 freehold apartments available to customers, and is located at the hub of Meydan Development, it added.

“Royal Pearls is designed to harness the power of innovation to provide superior premier lifestyle options, set in refined, elegant and environmentally-friendly surroundings of Nad Al Sheba,” said Tariq Jarrar, VP of sales and marketing at Oriental Pearls.

“Networked buildings with smart security and automated services are part of our value addition, which will be de rigueur in similar developments going forward,” he noted.

On the progress of work on the project to date, Jarrar said that enabling work for the first 12 towers has been completed and the anticipated completion for all units is scheduled for November 2019.
