UAE’s SEIDCO contracting company has announced that it has successfully incorporated construction industry-specific ePROMIS ERP software into its IT infrastructure.
According to the statement by the executive steering committee that oversaw the deployment, the new software is running live across the departments and projects of SEIDCO in line with the project plan. The implemented ERP software modules include financials, assets, procure to pay, inventory management, project management, investments, employee self-service, human capital management and payroll.
The enterprise software was rolled out by ePROMIS MEA, the Gulf region division of American software corporation ePROMIS Solutions Inc.
“The key requirement for ERP implementation was to centralise and streamline our everyday operations. We shortlisted the top ERP software solutions and vendors for evaluation, which resulted in the selection of ePROMIS MEA,” said Hosam M. Al-khaldi the IT head of SEIDCO.
Before implementing ePROMIS ERP, SEIDCO had multiple standalone software systems in operation.
“We faced several operational challenges and had to rely on manual processes due to the decentralised nature of our previous enterprise systems. We are glad to have partnered with ePROMIS as their fully-integrated ERP system, and the consulting expertise helped us eliminate process inefficiencies.”
Commending on the successful deployment Jaibin Paul, the senior project manager at ePROMIS MEA said: “ePROMIS Construction ERP is a proven business management software for engineering and construction industry comprising project cost reporting, profitability analysis, progress tracking, budget controls, earned value management, cost-value reconciliation, sub-contract management, and built-in business intelligence. With ePROMIS ERP, SEIDCO can gain deep visibility into every project, real-time information for better construction project management, and insights for continually improving performance.
Established in 1975 SEIDCO has continuously been contributing to the infrastructural growth of the region.
