ZÜBLIN named contractor to build new state-of-the-art campus for the American Community School of Abu Dhabi
Partnering with international education leader to deliver an innovative and exceptional new campus
Abu Dhabi, 15 November 2021 – ZÜBLIN Construction LLC today announced it was named contractor to build a new state-of-the-art K-12 campus for the American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS). The campus will sit on six hectares of land on Saadiyat Island, just 400 meters from New York University Abu Dhabi.

The six-month tender and award process involved identifying an initial list of contractors, commercial and technical evaluations of the tenders, a series of interviews and a final recommendation to the school’s Board of Trustees. The project was designed by award-winning international architectural firm, Broadway-Malyan, and includes the ongoing support of the multinational infrastructure consulting firm, AECOM.

STRABAG / ZÜBLIN’s portfolio of projects in the UAE includes Qasr Al Hosn, Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Center, STEP Link Sewer, Sheikh Khalifa bridge and CLYMB on Yas Island, as well as the current construction of the landmark Abrahamic Family House, near the new ACS campus on Saadiyat Island.
