Muriya launches residential development in Hawana Salalah in Dhofar, Oman
The development is in close proximity to the Fanar Hotel & Residences beach and offers a mix of townhouses, twin and standalone villas
Fanar Views has been launched by Oman-based developer Muriya. The residential development is billed as a first-of-its-kind free-hold residential project primely located in Hawana Salalah, in the Governorate of Dhofar.
The project is expected to feature a limited number of townhouses, twin- and standalone villas, fully serviced and furnished, with private pools overlooking the lagoons. The properties in Fanar Views are available with one-, two- and three bedrooms, offering resort-style living in a developed community, the developer said.
Muriya, which is also the developer of Hawana Salalah, is a joint venture (JV) between Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) and Orascom Development Holding (ODH). The developer has invested heavily in the Salalah region, having earlier started construction on a five-star hotel that would boost Salalah’s total number of hotels to four.

In June 2022, officials said that Oman’s 1,800m long zipline could be operational by Q4, 2022, while later in the month, the Khimji Ramdas Group said it would support the construction of a new vocational centre for the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Special Needs (AEIC).
