JLG announces new organisational changes in EMEAIR region

Company appoints new leads for customer care and operations

Global powered access major JLG Industries has announced organisational changes in its Europe Middle East Africa India and Russia (EMEAIR) operations, appointing new heads of customer care and operations for the region.

The Oshkosh Corporation company said in a statement that Tjitske van Hellemond has been made the new director Customer Care EMEAIR, effective August 1. In her new role, she will be responsible for all purchasing, marketing, and sales of JLG’s Parts and Service organization across the region.

Karel Huijser, general manager and vice president for JLG in the EMEAIR region, said: “Tjitske brings a wealth of experience from within JLG, as well as external expertise from her past to strategically lead our customer care business. She has excellent experience working in the parts and service industry and brings strategic perspective to enhance and expand our parts and services business in the region.”

The other new appointment is of Marko Kuipers, who transitions to the role of director of Operations and Continuous Improvement, effective September 1, and will be responsible for operations, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, continuous improvement and safety in the EMEAIR region.

“Marko brings 13 years of JLG experience to the role, most recently as director and associate general counsel – International. He is a knowledgeable and well-respected team member and we are excited that he has accepted this role,” said Huijser.

“Our new organisational structure will remain focused on our customers, to help them win in our markets, enrichening lives by redefining job-sites. With the unprecedented challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are confident in the long-term strengths of our company. We will continue to invest in our people, new technology, our facilities, and improve on our lifecycle services offering.”
