GAJ wins lead consultant role for Rumanza Golf Course Clubhouse
The new golf course in Pakistan is scheduled to open for business in 2020
Godwin Austen Johnson (GAJ) has been appointed as the lead architecture and interior design consultant for the concept design of the proposed new Rumanza Clubhouse in Multan, Pakistan.
The contract was awarded by the Defence Housing Authority, Multan.
GAJ’s scope of work involves concept design and architecture, as well as interior design and specialist lighting.
According to a statement from GAJ, the clubhouse will be part of Pakistan’s first Sir Nick Faldo Signature 18-hole golf course. Scheduled to open in 2020, the course is located within the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan residential community in Pakistan’s fifth largest city.

The championship golf course marks Faldo Design’s first venture into the country and is billed as the most ambitious golf course construction project in Pakistan’s history.
The course will include high-end luxury villas and apartments as well as extensive sports and recreation facili¬ties, the statement said.
Along with a golf retail space, the facility will also boast social venues including lounges, a grill restaurant, spike bar, coffee shop, private meeting and dining room. It will be designed to blend seamlessly with its natural environment creating a premium golf facility, says GAJ.
