Gallagher takes delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes
Dubai-based crane rental heavyweight to service oil & gas, construction and infrastructure sectors with new units
Dubai-based crane contractor Gallagher International has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes covering lifting capacities that range from 50 to 300 tonnes.
The order comprises one unit each of Liebherr’s LTM 1050-3.1, LTM 1070-4.2, LTM 1100-5.2, LTM 1160-5.2 and LTM 1300-6.2, said a statement from the German giant, adding that the main areas of use for the new mobile cranes are the oil & gas and maritime industries, construction and infrastructure projects as well as hoisting work in the communications and energy supply industries.
Gallagher said it continually invests in new cranes with innovative technologies to enable it to meet the needs of its customers efficiently and effectively. The decision to order the cranes from Liebherr was based on major factors such as product quality and after-sales service, it added.
Gallagher general manager Mahmoud A. Ibrahim said: “We were so impressed by the quality and performance of the latest Liebherr all-terrain cranes that we decided to buy more cranes from Liebherr. In addition, their service is excellent. Liebherr also supports us with its tailored solutions to meet the demands of our customers.”
Gallagher was founded in 1983 in the UAE and now has 36 years of experience in heavy haulage as well as being a specialist in the crane rental sector. Gallagher operates cranes with lifting capacities from 30- 500t and has a workforce of 225. It has had a business relationship with Liebherr since 1995.
