Request for proposals (RFP) for the construction contract has been issued. Prequalified companies include: Al-Jood Trading & Contracting, Bahwan Engineering Company, Civil Contracting Company, Eastern Overseas, Gam & Partners, Larsen & Toubro (Oman), National Contracting Company Ltd., Oman National Engineering & Investment Company, Ozdil Group and Powertech Engineering Company. An award is expected in the third quarter of 2012.
