NATRANS Expo prepares for its third edition

The 2017 event will focus on IoT and smart transportation in the UAE and wider region

NATRANS Expo successfully concluded its second edition last October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The event hosted more than 1000 participants over two days of networking activities between companies displaying their latest technologies and trends in the transportation industry. The event also featured more than 50 local and international companies from 13 countries displaying their recent innovations in the transportation industry and its related services.

Building on this success, in 2017, NATRANS Expo will be setting the stage for its 3rd edition to focus on Internet of Things (IoT) and their rapidly growing impact on the transportation industry, as well as the shift towards autonomous and sustainable vehicles. Attendees to the conference will be able to listen to presentations and panel discussions with a main focus on several key issues that will be addressed by a group of top professionals in the field transportation and smart technologies.

Exhibitors at the event will have the opportunity to present their latest innovations and solutions at the event that aims to offer the right combination of inter-industry collaboration and public and private sector investments that will drive growth and ultimately improve access and quality of the region’s infrastructure.

The event will showcase the most advanced technologies across a wide range of applications in today’s smart cities; from Road & Traffic, smart parking solutions, automatic incident & real time traffic telemetry, signals, nationwide interoperable ETC systems, metro & rail infrastructure projects, maritime and ports, security solutions to green city buses and autonomous vehicles.

NATRANS Expo is organized by Fleming, and is held under the Patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority – Land and Maritime.
