South Surra Road Project in Kuwait nearly complete says Afcons Infrastructure

Construction works for the South Surra Road Project in Kuwait is at a substantial completion stage according to Afcons Infrastructure. The key infrastructure project is said to facilitate unhindered access to one of the largest single-bodied government hospitals in the region – the Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Hospital, located close to the Ministry Zone.

The project required exemplary engineering skills with regards to the construction of interchanges, roads, troughs, signalised intersections, pedestrian bridges, and what may be Kuwait’s longest storm water detention tank, the firm noted.

The project has clocked in 18 million safe man hours, and, has registered several engineering benchmarks in the region, said Afcons.

Afcons Infrastructure is a subsidiary of Indian engineering and construction group Shapoorji Pallonji. The firm is said to boast diverse experience of on-time execution of over 350 infrastructure projects in more than 25 countries, the statement concluded.
