Klampfer Middle East and Brayan Group have announced the formation of a partnership enterprise to service the UAE mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) sector.

The new company, Klampfer-Brayan Electromechanical Contracting LLC (KBEC), falls within the portfolio of Dubai-based KBW Investments, which said in a statement that the newly-formed entity was conceptualised by Günther Hinterberger, Klampfer Middle East managing director, and Praveen B Sarapure, CEO, Brayan Group.

“As a European company with an international engineering portfolio, Klampfer is moving towards increasing and diversifying our Middle East market share beginning with the UAE. Our partnership with Brayan Group serves to both solidify our local footprint, and leverages the company’s on-the-ground years of MEP experience,” the statement quoted Hinterberger as saying.

Named to reflect both entities, KBEC was developed based on discussions that highlighted mutually-aligned interests and construction industry corporate aims, while drawing on proven individual strengths in multiple engineering-related sectors, the statement added.

KBEC said it anticipates a warm reception in the market as it will take an MEP sector-centric approach based on international best practices paired with a localised service offering.

“The merging of our two interests to create KBEC also brings considerable financial support to MEP execution in the UAE. This allows for a focus on strengths – not just of our respective solid reputations and different levels of geographic penetration – but on recruiting top level human capital to service KBEC clients for work needs,” said Sarapure.

“To further enhance the Klampfer-Brayan advantage, Joe Szabo, a sector veteran with more than 15 years of senior-level appointments across MEP and various other construction sector disciplines, has been confirmed as the operations director. We’re confident that his management expertise, together with his hard knowledge of the field, will ensure timely and cost-effective solutions for the Klampfer-Brayan client base,” he added.
