The Emirates Classification Society, Tasneef, says it has signed a contract with Kleindienst Group to support the developer’s Floating Seahorse marine project off the coast of Dubai.

Tasneef will be required to provide classification standards, design assessment and surveillance during construction of the floating villas, it said in a statement.

The Kleindienst Group plans to build more than 100 floating villas in compliance with Tasneef’s standards, the classification society said.

Kleindienst is behind an ambitious project at The World manmade islands in Dubai, and the Floating Seahorse villas will be nearby.

Each villa will feature 269 sq ft of underwater glazing and a coral garden spanning 495 sq ft.

“This contract will enable us to meet the quality and safety standards for the public facilities that we are building,” said Josef Kleindienst, Chairman of the Kleindienst Group.
