UAE’s Al Jaber Group bags $700mn ADNOC contract

UAE-based Al Jaber Building has been awarded a contract worth nearly $700 million to build staff accommodation for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
The contract includes the construction of 40 residential buildings for ADNOC’s married employees at the Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion Phase IV, Al Jaber Building said in a statement.
The project, scheduled for completion in two years, spans an area of 670,000 sq. m. The total built up area will be 521,000 sq. m, including 1920 residential units, mosques, and car parks.
“We are delighted to be awarded the construction contract of the Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion Phase IV. This is the fifth project that we execute for ADNOC. To be the contractor on such an important project is a great privilege for Al Jaber Building,” said Obaid Khaleefa Al Jaber Al Marri, Chairman of Al Jaber Group.
