Revealed: Middle East Consultant 2019 award winners
Industry judging panel saw 22 winners walk away with trophies at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai
The fifth edition of the Middle East Consultant Awards took place on December 10 at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai. 22 winners were announced with WSP, MZ Architects and RSP claiming the Multi-Discipline Consulting Company of the Year, Project of the Year and Architectural Company of the Year awards respectively.
Over 165 nominations were submitted across 21 categories for the 2019 edition of the annual awards ceremony.
According to the editorial team at Middle East Consultant, the first round of eliminations which were conducted in-house saw the number of nominations reduced to 104.
The remaining nominations were then deliberated over by a judging panel consisting of experts from the regional construction industry. This year’s judging panel included Ahmed Abou Alfa, Craig Garrett, Dana Salbak, Nithin Thomas and Suhail Arfath. CPI Trade’s Gavin Davids and Jason Saundalkar served as moderators during the face-to-face judging process.
The Middle East Consultant Awards 2019 was sponsored by CKR Consulting Engineers, Hadley Group, K Tech Consulting, LACASA, Rawlplug, Sto, Studio Lumen Lighting Design & Consultancy, 12D Model and Faithful+Gould. The event was also supported by ProTenders, CIOB and RICS.
WSP returned as the official social media partner of the event and ran a Twitter picture competition that saw the most creative picture walk away with a 128GB iPhone XR.
