SSH has confirmed that it is serving as the lead design consultant on a five-star hospitality and luxury residential project in Marrakech, Morocco. The project spans an area of 750,000sqm and includes golf-branded villas and apartments.
According to a statement, the project’s hospitality component comprises a St. Regis Resort Hotel, offering 60 guest rooms, 20 villas, a ballroom, conference centre, restaurants and other leisure facilities, as well as separate branded villas. The residential component of the mixed-use project features standard as well as twin villas, while the residential element includes apartment units, shops and a sports academy.
“We are very excited to have been appointed as the lead design consultant on this prestigious project. Our appointment to this development is not only a testament of our building design pedigree within the hospitality sector, but also confirms our commitment to Morocco’s architecture and engineering market,” said Danny Warde, marketing director at SSH.
The first phase of the project, which consists of an 18-hole golf course, has been completed, the firm said. The second phase will comprise hospitality, residential, retail and landscape components.
