Projects will help protect Makaah villages near wadis from floodwaters
Saudi-based architecture firm, Al-Tamayoz Al-Makki Engineering Consultation Office has won a new contract from the Makkah Mayoralty to oversee the implementation of flood projects being carried out across the holy city.
Under the $2.4m contract, the firm will focus on completion of work within the scheduled timeframe, ensure all projects are being implemented according to specifications, and supervise several flood projects being implemented in different Makkah neighbourhoods such as Al-Sharayeh, Bat’ha Quraish and Al-Fayha.
The projects are aimed at providing protection from floods for Makkah villages at three main Wadis; Wadi Fatma, Wadi Orna, and Wadi Nooman.
