Liebherr to present new products at Intermat 2018
Wheeled loaders and flat top tower cranes among models to see world premieres at company’s 4,500sqm outdoor stand
Liebherr will unveil new products for the global and European markets at the upcoming Intermat exhibition in Paris in April this year.
The construction equipment major said in a statement that in addition to world premieres of new machines, visitors to the event’s technology pavilion will also be able to find out more about the company’s latest digitisation solutions and the Liebherr Reman programme.
Liebherr’s stand at the exhibition’s open-air grounds will see highlights from the manufacturer’s product ranges for earthmoving and material handling machines, special deep mining machines, tower cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes and concrete technology.
Among the machines making their world premieres will be two small wheeled loaders in Liebherr’s Stereolader range, said the statement, adding that two larger Stereolader models launched last summer – the L 514 and L 518 – will also be on display.
Another machine, the A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator, will also be presented for the first time at a trade fair. With an operating weight between 14-17t and a 143hp engine, the model is designed for both classic earthmoving and road, sewer and pipeline construction applications, said the manufacturer.
Liebherr will also unveil the successor to its 172 EC-B 8 Litronic flat-top crane at Intermat 2018. The new model will feature a jib extended by 2.5m to 62.5m with jib-end weight capacity of 1.8t for the full 62.5m radius and a maximum load capacity of 8t. The new flat-top crane will be presented on the new 16 EC tower system alongside the LiUP internal crane driver elevator.
Liebherr will also exhibit its Reman reconditioned engines and components range in Paris using a remanufactured V12 diesel engine. The Reman programme offers the option to use used components that have been remanufactured in accordance with industrial standards as fully fledged spare parts.
The Liebherr Group’s main display stand in the event taking place at the Villepinte exhibition centre in northern Paris from April 23-28 will be the 4500sqm E6/E035 outdoor stand, the statement added.
