Nakheel, the Dubai-based master developer, has invited companies to submit bids for the construction of Palm West Beach on the Palm Jumeirah.

The development will comprise of a beach club, service block, swimming pool, water feature and outdoor deck area, a report by Zawya Projects said. Tender documents can be collected by paying a non-refundable fee of $2,725, while the final submission date is January 15, 2017.

The developer said in October that it had made a net profit of $260 million during the third quarter – a 22% rise compared to 2015. Those results took profits for the first nine months of 2016 to $1.06 billion, an increase of 8.3% on the $982.8 million recorded over the same period last year.

Earlier this year, the developer announced a luxury project on the western crescent of the Palm Jumeriah. The Palm 360 project is scheduled to be delivered in 2020 and will include two boutique hotels and 252 one and two bedroom serviced apartments.

The Palm will also see the development of the Palm Promenade, which will include a new beach, park and retail complex that will stretch for a mile along the trunk of the island. This project will connect the area’s 30 apartment buildings with Al Ittihad Park and other retail and dining outlets in the area.
