Dubai Parks and Resorts holds private preview for workers
Event aimed at thanking and recognising workforce, company says
Dubai Parks and Resorts has given its construction workers a private preview of the destination they helped build.
The Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination company said in a statement that it hosted the event over a weekend as a sign of gratitude for the continuous hard work put in by its workers over the past three years.
Members of construction teams attended the event that was held at Bollywood Parks Dubai. The event, which started with a raffle draw that awarded cash prizes to the participants, was sponsored by Dubai First, the destination’s official financial partner.
Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of DXB Entertainments, the owner of Dubai Parks and Resorts, said: “We have come a long way since we broke ground on this magnificent entertainment destination in March 2013. This accomplishment would have not been possible without the support of our remarkable workforce, who worked round the clock to deliver this world-class theme park destination. This destination is a source of pride for every single person who participated in building it, as it will forever change the face of family tourism and the entertainment sector in the UAE and the region.
“We were pleased to host members of our construction teams at Dubai Parks and Resorts, and were overjoyed to see their reactions when they experienced the product that they built.”
Dubai Parks and Resort comprises three theme parks: Bollywood Parks Dubai, the Hollywood-themed Motiongate Dubai and the region’s first Legoland Park with a Legoland Water Park. The entire destination will be connected by Riverland Dubai, a retail and dining destination, and include a family hotel from the Marriott Autograph Collection.
