JCB rolls out new machines for Middle East
New products specifically targeted at the Middle Eastern markets, manufacturer says
UK-based construction equipment maker, JCB has launched new products, specifically targeting the Middle East market as well as the Russia/CIS, Africa and Latin America markets.
Rocester-headquartered JCB revealed its most powerful backhoe loader to date, the all-wheel steer 5CX, which is powered by a 118bhp Tier 2 JCB Dieselmax engine and boasts a 1.3m2 shovel as standard.
The 5CX is fitted with TorqueLock transmission as standard, which the manufacturer says produces fuel consumption savings of up to 25% compared with standard transmissions.
Other products launched include JCB’s 24-tonne 467 wheeled loader, which is powered by a 290bhp Cummins QSB Stage IIIA/Tier 3 engine and has a 4m3 capacity bucket as standard. JCB said its biggest ever wheeled loader is designed for countries in the Middle East, Russia/CIS, Latin America, Turkey, Africa and Australia.
