Dubai’s Damac launches Viridis at Akoya Oxygen ahead of Cityscape

The four-tower project, consisting of residential units and hotel apartments, will be located in Dubailand

Dubai’s Damac Properties has announced the launch of Viridis, a four-tower project consisting of residential units and hotel apartments in Dubailand, ahead of Cityscape Global 2015.
The project will be located at Damac’s Akoya Oxygen community, home to the Trump World Golf Club, a retail and entertainment district, and Dubai’s first rainforest.
Two of the four towers will consist of 370 five-star hotel apartments, managed by Damac Properties’ hospitality brand Naia. Each unit will be fully serviced and can be placed in the company’s rental pool programme.
The other two towers will include 356 private residential units overlooking the golf course and community.
The four 13-storey towers are the first high-rise units to go on sale in the Akoya Oxygen development. Prices start from AED 440,000 (about $120,000) with construction set to be completed by the middle of 2019, Damac Properties said.
“With the summer coming to an end we are expecting the next few months to be a very busy time across the city,” said Niall McLoughlin, senior vice president at DAMAC Properties.
“AKOYA Oxygen has surpassed expectations in terms of sales, and we expect the first apartment units to be made available in the project to be very attractive to investors visiting Dubai over the coming weeks.”
Cityscape Global, one of the region’s largest real estate exhibitions, runs from 8 to 10 September.
