King Salman relieves Shuwaish al-Duwaihi of his position as housing minister
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has appointed a new housing minister in a bid to address the shortage of homes in the Kingdom, it has been reported.
Shuwaish al-Duwaihi was relieved of his position and replaced as housing minister by Essam bin Saeed, according to a royal decree quoted by state media.
King Salman, who became monarch in January following the death of King Abdullah, had pledged to end the shortage of homes in Saudi Arabia.
