Arabtec to enter Balkan markets
Company CEO claims new regional headquarters planned for Belgrade, Serbia will further relations between UAE and Balkan countries.
Arabtec recently announced it would open its regional headquarters in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
The new offices are expected to provide the company with the required resources for expansion into the Balkan region. Arabtec is in discussions with developers in the country to strategise for local projects they could undertake in the future.
“We see great potential for Arabtec in the region,” said Hasan Abdullah Ismaik, managing director and CEO of the company. “The opening of our regional headquarters in Belgrade provides us with a base from which to pursue available opportunities and achieve another milestone in our growth strategy.
“Commercial ties between the UAE and Balkan countries, in particular Serbia, have been growing steadily in recent years. We are very pleased to extend national links into a new economic sector,” he added, as per a report by WAM.
