The Bangalore team celebrate the opening of the new factory
Doosan Portable Power’s new manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India will produce 2000 portable air compressors and light towers annually when it is fully operational.
The factory, which opened last month, will supply portable air compressors and light towers manufactured in the factory to India, South Africa, and other emerging markets.
“Doddaballapur in Bangalore offers outstanding vendors and manpower that will allow for the manufacture of high quality products,” said J S Kim, CEO, Doosan India. “As the market for our products has continued to grow, it has become necessary to have our own facility to meet our customers’ needs.”
The Doosan Portable Power facility in Bangalore will also house all Doosan India Operations along with Doosan Portable Power manufacturing. Additional plans will include opening a trading warehouse for other Doosan brands, including Doosan excavators, Bobcat machines and Mntabert hydraulic breakers.
