Linden Comansa to show 21LC290 at Bauma Africa

Important show for MEA region

Spanish tower crane manufacturer Linden Comansa has announced it will show its 21LC290 model at the Bauma Africa show, to be held this September 18th-21st in Johannesburg in South Africa.

The company will co-exhibit with its South African dealer Tower Crane Services. The show is expected to attract visitors from the entire continent.

Although this will be the first edition of Bauma Africa, it is expected to be Africa’s most important construction machinery tradeshow and one of the world’s top meeting points for construction professionals, as its sister shows Bauma and Bauma China, said Linden Comansa’s Mariano Echávarri.

Linden Comansa will erect its 21LC290 flat-top crane, with maximum load capacity of 12 tonnes, at a height under hook of only 15.1m. The model conforms with Linden Comansa’s design philosophy, with light components for fast assembly and an easy and cost efficient transport.

It features Linden Comansa’s Effi-Plus high speed hoist mechanisms and the PowerLift system, which allows to improve the crane’s load chart up to 10% with reduced speeds.

The 21LC290 tower crane belongs to the LC2100 Series, which has recently been reviewed by Linden Comansa’s R&D team, and will feature many new improvements at Bauma Africa, including frequency control on the slewing movement. All electrical systems are gathered in one single cabinet. With this distribution, the communication between the crane operator and the service technician is highly improved during the maintenance tasks.
