His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler’s representative in the Western Region has hailed the awarding of contracts to build the Ghayathi and Sila hospitals in the UAE’s Western Region as an indication of the country’s dedication to bringing healthcare services to every citizen and resident in the emirate.
Hamdan bin Zayed spoke at the signing of the contracts at a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi which was also attended by Dr J R Gangaramani, president and executive chairman of Al Fara’a and Malik Ali Faqih, chairman of the board of Amanah Contracting Company
The Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) said the two companies were awarded the contracts based on the strength of their presentations and the technical and financial commitments.
Al-Fara’a General Contracting, which owns trading arm Al Salahah, and Amanah Construction Company will begin work on the hospitals immediately, said Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, SEHA’s chairman.
“We are pleased to announce the start of construction of Sila and Ghayathi hospitals in the Western Region,” he said. “We are expected that all construction stages to be completed by 2015.”
