Revealed: 2021 Middle East Consultant Awards shortlist!

Annual event will recognise companies, individuals, and projects across 27 existing and new categories

The seventh edition of the prestigious Middle East Consultant Awards (MEC Awards) is poised to take place at the Ritz Carlton JBR in Dubai on February 2. The event will be held outdoors, at the hotel’s new lawn, with doors opening at 7pm sharp.

The event will comply with all local COVID-19 related protocols to help attendees enjoy the evening in a safe and responsible manner. Social distancing measures will be observed, and every attendee will be expected to wear masks, unless eating or drinking at their respective tables.

The 2021 MEC Awards broke a record when its nomination site closed in November 2021, as 215 nominations were recorded across its various categories. The editorial team also notes that on the back of a social media campaign designed to help companies and individuals submit stronger nominations, the overall quality of submissions this year was higher than in past years.

Several categories drew a record number of entries, with nominations coming from countries across the region including Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The sheer number of entries in some categories prompted the editorial team to split and even launch new categories, as detailed in the shortlist below.

The 2021 Middle East Consultant Awards is being supported by the following companies:

  • Social Media Sponsor: WSP
  • Silver Sponsors: AECOM, HKA, LWK+Partners, NEB and RSP
  • Bronze Sponsors: Kairnial and Serco

If you’d like to attend the gala event, please email andy.pitois@cpitrademedia.com to discuss costs.
