Majid Al Futtaim begins handover of Al Lilac’s second phase at Al Zahia project
Sharjah development comprises 169 units of three-bedroom townhouses, five-bedroom and courtyard villas
Majid Al Futtaim Communities and Sharjah Asset Management have announced the start of handovers for the second phase of the Al Lilac neighbourhood in Sharjah’s Al Zahia project, comprising 169 units of three-bedroom townhouses and courtyard villas to five-bedroom villas.
The Majid Al Futtaim Properties arm said the handover of the second phase comes after the successful completion of the first phase of Al Lilac in March and follows the successful launch and handover of Al Jouri and Al Narjis neighbourhoods. Al Lilac will be the third neighbourhood to be fully occupied within Al Zahia, said a statement from the developer.
Yousuf Kazim, MD, UAE, Majid Al Futtaim – Communities, said: “Al Lilac encompasses the finest in architectural design while offering discerning buyers an unmatched lifestyle. Today we take another step towards realising Majid Al Futtaim’s bold vision of creating a destination that celebrates and uplifts its residents every day. With this new milestone, we are well on our way towards redefining the Sharjah living experience, and we look forward to welcoming those who will soon call Al Zahia home.”
The one-million-square-metre residential community, Al Zahia, owned by Sharjah Holding – a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management – is within walking distance of the recently opened City Centre Al Zahia mall. Like other neighbourhoods within Al Zahia, Al Lilac will offer residents a direct connection via an accessible bridge to the mall.
Walid Al Hashimi, CEO, Sharjah Holding, added: “Rich in culture and diversity, Al Lilac appeals to those who seek a combination of grandeur and home comforts, making it one of Sharjah’s most desired and distinctive neighbourhoods. Adding to the appeal is the neighbourhood’s rich architecture, lavish amenities and unparalleled lifestyle benefits, which make it the cultural heart of Sharjah’s premier lifestyle destination.”
