Union Properties breaks ground on first phase of new development in Motor City
Motor City Views is part of the first phase of the new development and will overlook the Dubai Autodrome
Union Properties has broken ground on the first phase of its new Motor City development. The project is being developed at a cost of US $598m and will feature 880 residences. Contractor Airolink has been appointed to deliver the project.
Motor City Views is being developed as part of the first phase of the new developments and is being developed at a cost of $218m. It will occupy 35.3m sqft and will offer a mix of residential, business, sports and leisure opportunities. The project, which boasts a built-up area of over one million sqft, features 880 residences with a mix of 313 studios, 427 one-, 133 two- and seven three-bedroom apartments.
According to a statement from the developer, Motor City Views is located in the heart of Motor City and overlooks its racetrack. The project will consist of three seven storey buildings comprising commercial spaces for retail stores, restaurants, shopping centers and apartments.

As a consistent leading contractor in the industry, Airolink has a proven track record of handing over high-quality landmark projects, even during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic,” said Union Properties chairman Khalifa Hassan Al Hammadi in the presence of the management and representatives from both Union Properties and Airolink.
General manager Abdullah Al Rustumani said the main objective of the Motorcity Views was to provide a distinct residential destination and a new urban landmark, offering a qualitative addition that enriches the urban development in Dubai through the construction of a diversified residential complex equipped with the latest integrated facilities.
On the contract win, Airolink chairman and CEO Dr Anil Pillai noted, “We are proud to associate with Union Properties to elevate the Motor City Developments to even greater heights.”
