CMC promotes Ziad Hamade to general manager

Veteran with more than 16 years’ experience in the company to oversee projects and initiatives to maxmise growth and profitability of regional equipment heavyweight

UAE-based major construction equipment supplier Construction Machinery Centre (CMC), part of the RTS Investment Group, has announced Ziad Hamade as its new general manager.

Hamade, a veteran of the industry, has been a long-time member of CMC staff, spending over 16 years in the organisation. According to a statement from CMC: “A highly ambitious, dedicated, and proactive professional with over 16 years of experience with us in the field of construction equipment and machinery, Ziad joined CMC in 2005, and headed and led many departments that enriched his commercial, technical, product and market experience and skills.

“Recently Ziad had been promoted to become the general manager of CMC. In his new role as GM he plans, implements and oversees company initiatives and projects to maximise the growth and profitability of CMC.”

Starting as inventory and logistics controller, Hamade has served in several key positions with CMC, including logistics and inventory manager, commercial and logistics manager and deputy general manager, before being promoted to GM.
He has a degree in business administration from the C & E American University Institute and counts reading and fishing as his hobbies.
