Al Falah Healthcare says $136m Wellness Boulevard on track for Q3 2021 opening

7,600sqm health, wellness, retail and F&B destination will serve residents of Khalifa City

Al Falah Healthcare, the UAE-based group, has announced that work is in full swing on its Wellness Boulevard project, which is located in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa City suburbs.
In a statement, Al Falah said that the health, wellness, retail and F&B destination project is due to open in the third quarter of the year and is being built at a cost of $136 million. Covering an area of 7,600sqm, the destination will be home to a selection of medical and fitness outlets, as well as shopping and dining brands from across the region and world.
Once completed, Wellness Boulevard will impact the lives of surrounding residents, while also drawing in visitors from across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the UAE and the region, Al Falah said.
On the new retail hub, Falah Zayed, the Investment Manager at Al Falah Healthcare, said: “Wellness Boulevard will be a community-led facility like no other and a first of its kind in the UAE and the region. By offering the very best in mall services, courtesy of global retailers and food brands, the complex will cater to the daily needs of a large, diverse and expanding population that demands access to the very best facilities at a time and location that suits them.”
“This will be complemented by Wellness Boulevard’s unrivalled collection of renowned healthcare providers, with leading names offering the highest standards of medical care and clinical treatments,” noted Zayed.
“As a multi-purpose hub for the Abu Dhabi community, Wellness Boulevard will be a new focal point for families, friends, customers and patients to use and enjoy all year round,” he added.
He added that the multi-level, multi-purpose, one-stop-shop development will offer patients, customers and their families the highest standards of care and facilities, with amenities designed to offer the convenience of a modern shopping mall, with plentiful shopping, food and family options, alongside custom-fitted clinics, offices and high-specification medical facilities.
The neighbourhood of Khalifa City, close to the edge of the city and the Abu Dhabi International Airport, is home to a large but currently underserved population, said the statement from Al Falah Healthcare.
Wellness Boulevard aims to address this gap in facilities with its generous selection of leading regional and international healthcare providers and affiliated services, including insurance companies and fitness centres, as well as big-name retail and food offerings, it concluded.
