Bahrain’s Eskan Bank floats tender for shopping complex in north of kingdom

Last date to submit tenders for Busaiteen Plaza project is 18 December, 2019

Eskan Bank, a leading provider of residential mortgages in Bahrain, has announced that it has floated tenders for the development of a shopping complex in the north of the Kingdom.

In a tender notification, the bank said that the new shopping centre – Busaiteen Plaza – comprises of a ground and mezzanine floor, with a built-up area of 2,100 sqm. The scope of work for the project includes the construction of the shopping centre in Busaiteen, a small town in the north of Bahrain, and the external works and services.

The bank added that the last date for submitting tenders for the appointment of contractors is December 18, 2019.

Established in 1979, Eskan Bank is the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading provider of residential mortgages and a significant presence in the country’s property development market. It’s development and investment activities include real estate investment, construction and property management, as well as finance for the construction of social and affordable homes, community projects and commercial projects.

It’s subsidiary, Eskan Properties Company develops social, affordable community and commercial projects in partnership with the private sector and the government.

In October, the bank floated a tender for providing detailed design consultancy services for the Danat Al Hoora project, which is a residential project including 132 apartment units housed in 10-storey buildings, a carpark and a retail area.

The duration for the project’s detail design phase is six months, the invite added. The bid submission deadline is 27 November, 2019.
