Shaza Hotels announces launch of Al Badayer Oasis – Sharjah Collection by Mysk

Shurooq-owned property will offer travellers an immersive experience in the wilderness, CEO says

Shaza Hotels, a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, has announced the opening of Al Badayer Oasis – Sharjah Collection by Mysk, a desert retreat set among the dunes of central Sharjah.

Owned by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Al Badayer Oasis features 21 rooms and 10 tents, adorned with Arabian culture and ornaments that are inspired by ancient caravanserais, a statement from Shaza Hotels said.

“We are delighted to expand our presence in the UAE with a unique property like Al Badayer Oasis and a partner like Shurooq and look forward to delivering unparalleled experiences to guests. It is a superb addition to our growing portfolio of hotels in the Middle East and will be the perfect choice for travellers looking for novel and immersive experiences in the midst of wilderness,” said Simon Coombs, president and CEO of Shaza Hotels.

“This latest opening, that joins two other fabulous properties namely the Kingfisher Lodge and Al Faya Lodge in the Sharjah Collection, creates a unique three in one travel circuit for visitors to discover the culture, traditional Arabian hospitality and natural beauty of the emirate of Sharjah.”

Designed for ‘glamourous camping’, guests will be able to avail of facilities including an Emirati restaurant offering authentic cuisine and street food, another all-day dining restaurant, two meeting rooms, indoor pool and a gymnasium. A spacious amphitheatre at the heart of the Caravanserai will host live events, it added.

Al Badayer Oasis is also a popular destination for 4×4 trips, quad biking, horse riding, desert safaris and camel tours. Unmarked mountain routes and purpose-built trails mean both novice and experienced mountain bikers can explore Sharjah’s territories on two wheels, Shaza Hotels said.
