Meraas launches second mall project
Announcement follows double project announcements at Cityscape Global
Dubai-based development company Meraas has announced the launch of its third development in the Emirate, Outlet Village.
The 20,000sqm development located at the intersection of Al Khail and Um Suqeim road will feature a string of 160 luxury brands at discount prices, says the developer.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2013, will 100 of the luxury stores built in phase one and the remaining 60 planned for phase two.
The announcements follows Meraas’ successful showcase of two new developments at Cityscape Global 2012: ‘The Beach’ and ‘Island 2’.
The first, located at JBR has already come under fire from the area’s residents. The second development will be built off the coast of Jumeirah 2 and reclamation work is already 40% complete.
