Alian subsidiary inks deal with Emmedue (M2) for construction technology

Deal will also see Emmedue transfer skills and know-how for the manufacture of 3D concrete panels

Alian Industry has signed a non-binding agreement with Italian firm Emmedue (M2), for the transfer of modern construction technology. As per the agreement, Emmedue will transfer technology enabling the production of three-dimensional concrete panels to Al Kathiri Holding Company, the parent firm of Alian Industry.

Additionally, the deal outlines the sale of machinery and equipment that will enable the manufacturing of the panels. Emmedue will also transfer expertise and will oversee the processing and training of Al Kathiri employees on the mechanism of manufacturing and construction, said Al Kathiri Holding Company in a filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul.

According to Al Kathiri, the collaboration is part of its commitment to securing the best and most modern building methods, which ‘saves time and money in the construction of modern buildings of high quality’.

Emmedue is said to have developed and commercialised the Emmedue Advanced Building System globally over the last 35 years. It is billed as a world-class building technology that is unique to traditional construction methods, saving cost and time spent in construction, flexibility in applying modern architectural designs, and achieving the highest standards of acoustic and thermal insulation.
