Diyar Al Muharraq says infrastructural work for Al Qamra development nearly completed
Plot owners of Bahrain-based project will soon have access to all infrastructure services necessary to build their own homes
Diyar Al Muharraq, a leading urban developer in Bahrain, has said that infrastructural work for its Al Qamra development is in line with the project’s pre-forecast date.
In a statement, the developer said that plot owners would soon be able to benefit from all infrastructure services and build their own homes. Diyar Al Muharraq said that 98% of secondary infrastructure works were completed for Al Qamra by September 2018, and that the finalisation of works was expected by October 2018.
The announcement is in line with the company’s efforts to expediate the construction of its developments in order to cater to its inhabitants, it asserted. All infrastructure works have been undertaken by Hafeera Contracting, it added.
Al Qamra caters to both locals and expatriates in search of residential and investment freehold plots in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The development has been strategically situated at a location in the centre of Diyar Al Muharraq and is in close proximity to several major destinations.
The developer said that Al Qamra is an example of the diversity of residential offerings that are encompassed within its masterplan. The project will provide plot owners within the development with a complete infrastructure networking, including roads, electricity, water, drainage and telecommunications, it explained.
“On behalf of Diyar Al Muharraq, it brings me immense pleasure to announce both that the infrastructure work in Al Qamra is entering its last stages and that this has taken place within the allocated time frame. This will provide plot owners with essential infrastructure services and allow them to commence constructing their residential units, which highlights our efforts towards the manifestation of our integrated vision for Diyar Al Muharraq. The project serves to show the high standards that the company incorporates in building a comprehensive infrastructure network that serves to fulfil residents’ needs,” said Dr Maher Al Shaer, chief executive officer of Diyar Al Muharraq in the statement.
“Al Qamra enjoys an easy access and a close proximity to many of our most prominent destinations within Diyar Al Muharraq, including Dragon City. Therefore, we take great pride in what this project represents as it is an important part of our masterplan through it being a significant feature of the diversity of residential and investment opportunities it encompasses.
“We look forward to witnessing the completion of the owners’ villas and to hosting their residence in them in the near future,” he added.
Al Qamra has more than 131 affordable freehold residential plots that are tailored for mid-range sized housing units, in addition to seven commercial plots and nine exhibition plots in an area of 6,800sqm. The project will also offer parks and greenery, a mosque, retail and recreational spaces, and access to communal facilities, the developer said.
Diyar Al Muharraq is a master-planned city for the people of Bahrain. It offers a range of housing options and a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with a strong line-up of projects aimed at creating a long-term and sophisticated township, the statement concluded.
