Hilson Moran appoints Qatar regional director

Matt Kitson to help strengthen the consultancy’s presence in the Qatar construction market

Matt Kitson has been appointed as Hilson Moran Qatar’s new regional director.

Hilson Moran Qatar has appointed a new regional director to its Doha-based office, Matt Kitson, who has previously led the development of environmental and sustainability modelling tool SuBET, which provides a master-planning design framework that complements sustainability assessment systems such as the GSAS/QSAS.

With more than a decade of experience in the industry, Kitson has worked on projects across the UK and Europe, including work on London’s Gherkin. His Middle East experience includes the re-masterplan for North Yas, Abu Dhabi.

“Matt’s appointment will help strengthen our presence here and enable us to deliver well-engineered, functional buildings and master-plans that are sustainable and environmentally progressive, Morris added.
