Wacker Neuson introduces new compact excavators

Rental sector the focus for 3.5t zero-tail-swing models released at Intermat

Wacker Neuson has launched two new compact excavators for the global market at Intermat, and announced another one to follow next year.

The German compact and mini equipment specialist premiered the ET35 and EZ36 models at the exhibition last week, which it claims are “the most innovative trendsetters in the industry”.  The EZ17e model will be launched next year, the company added.

Martin Lehner, CEO, Wacker Neuson, said based on projections of increased rental demand in the coming years, the models are expected to be popular in the rental market. The rental sectors would also increase their interest in all-electric products, he added.

The ET35 and EZ36, each weighing 3.5t, are zero tail swing excavator models with no rear overhang. According to Wacker Neuson, they are suitable for work in confined spaces.

“We recognised the needs of the market and are offering even more flexibility and comfort with the new 3.5t models from Wacker Neuson,” said a spokesperson from Wacker Neuson.

The excavators sport new interior designs and additional outfitting options that improve productivity and reduce operator fatigue, added the spokesperson.
