ADM to complete $32.3m worth of development projects during Q2 2018

Civic body nears completion of roads and infrastructure project at Al Maqta South

Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) is set to complete $32.3 million worth of development projects during the second quarter of the year, in cooperation with Musanada, it has announced.

In a report by WAM, the civic body said that it has nearly completed the Roads and Infrastructure Project of District 25 at Al Maqta South. During the second quarter of the year, ADM said that it will complete construction of roads and infrastructure to serve residential land plots on both sides of Al Maqta Canal, for 66 new residential units.

The project will include the construction of a 1.7km dual carriageway and a single carriageway of 1.25km. It will also cover the provision of water, electricity, communications, and sanitation services for all the residential units, it added.

Furthermore, the project will include the undertaking of all construction works, such as street lighting, road signs and maritime protection through landfills using rocky materials on both sides of the canal, at the back of the reclaimed residential land plots of the project, ADM explained.

Covering more than 111,000sqm, the project intends to improve the infrastructure of District 25 at Al Maqta South, as part of a comprehensive project aimed at upgrading the infrastructure of the city of Abu Dhabi and its suburban areas.
