ISG enjoys record Middle East growth
Firm also strengthens Middle East leadership team
ISG has announced that its Middle East business has enjoyed record growth and sustainable profitability over the last 12-months, driven by several large office fit-out projects that were secured for both government and international organisations during this period.
Given this growth, the company has moved to strengthen its senior leadership team in the Middle East, with the promotion of Scott McCulloch to the role of general manager. Meanwhile, the current managing director, Steve Ramsden, has also been recognised for his significant success in growing the regional business over the last two years, with the addition of managing director of Southeast Asia to his remit.
McCulloch, who joined ISG in 2012 as commercial director, will now become the operational lead for the Middle East business, reporting to Ramsden, a company statement said. He will utilise his strong network of contacts and reputation for delivery excellence to continue ISG’s planned growth trajectory.
“The business is in excellent shape and we have worked hard to put in place sound foundations to support our ambitious growth strategy for 2018 and beyond,” McCulloch said in a statement. “This investment is already paying off, as we recently celebrated multiple major project handovers, including the Zayed Sports City refurbishment and mobilised on site of several new ones.”
In addition to its strong performance on office fit-out projects, the company’s health sector offering continues to resonate with existing clients, the company added. New projects have also been secured in the hospitality and leisure sectors, including high-end F&B restaurants at the W Dubai Hotel on The Palm.
“ISG is a trusted partner on many of the region’s most complex and challenging projects and it’s our absolute focus on the customer experience that is a real differentiator for our business,” McCulloch asserted.
“Moving forward, we see significant scope to expand further into the hospitality, leisure and health sectors, whilst growing our renowned office fit out offer. It’s encouraging that we are not only securing a greater volume of repeat business from our existing customers, but are also seeing an increasing range of opportunities from new domestic and internationally based organisations.”
“Scott has been integral to the success of our business and has helped build an outstanding and award-winning team, with the expertise and professionalism to secure a growing share of the Middle East fit out market. As I relocate to our Singapore office, I have absolute confidence that Scott will provide the energy, passion and enthusiasm to lead our Middle East business to the next chapter of its success,” Steve Ramsden, managing director of ISG’s Middle East and Southeast Asia businesses, concluded.
