Archirodon wins $200m EPC deal for offshore Abu Dhabi oilfield
Deal is the first of four major contracts in the Sarb full field development project
Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) has awarded Archirodon Construction an estimated $200m engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for site preparation works at an offshore oilfield in Abu Dhabi.
MEED reported the contract covers the preparation of a site as part of the development of the offshore Satah al-Razboot (Sarb) oilfield on Zirku Island to house new processing, storage and export facilities for the project.
Archirodon will be responsible for site preparation works, the construction of a jetty and sea water lift pumps on the northwest part of Zirku Island, which is located 20kmfrom the Sarb oilfield.
The deal is the first of four major contracts in the Sarb full field development project. US-based Fluor carried out the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase for all four packages.
