ACC to build Amman?s tallest tower

The Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded a US $93.7 million contract awarded by Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Tourism Investment Company to build the Rotana Hotel Tower in Abdali, Amman, in Jordan.
Set for completion in 2013, the tower will be the tallest building in Jordan at a height of 188m, according to a statement released by the company.
Located in the Abdali District in downtown Amman, the fivestar hotel will form part of the Abdali Urban Regeneration Project that aims to modernise the area. Covering a built-up area of 66,800m², the development will comprise seven basements with a 180-car capacity, 50 floors and 425 rooms.
ACC has been in operation since 1968 and has completed a number of projects in the region, including factories, hotels, hospitals, public buildings and other construction projects.
