Dewan Architects to design 5-star Saudi hotel

Dammam property to have 200 guest rooms and 120 hotel apartments, along with other facilities

Saudi-headquartered Arab Resort Areas Company (ARAC) has awarded UAE-based Dewan Architects & Engineers the consultancy contract to design and supervise the construction of a hotel in Saudi Arabia.

To be located in the Eastern Province city of Dammam, the five-star property will feature 200 guest rooms and 120 hotel apartments, four dining venues and leisure facilities such as a gym and spa.

There will also be a kids club, indoor swimming pool, retail shops, hairdressing, a number of coffee shops, as well as a fully-equipped banquet hall with 600 persons capacity supported by a business centre and meeting rooms to host conferences, banquets, and exhibitions.

Dewan said it will focus on contemporary and functional design parameters “with an emphasis on light and visually engaging spaces and areas that invoke the spirit of Arab hospitality.”
