New facility is one of several healthcare centres being built in the UAE capital
Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has invited selected contractors to submit their bids for the contract to build the Mushrif Healthcare Centre on Abu Dhabi Island.
The new facility is one of several healthcare centres the firm is planning to build in the emirate. SEHA is currently assessing bids from construction firms for the contract to build its new hospital in Al-Ain, and in July it reopened the prequalification for the contract to build Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi.
Designed by US-based Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the hospital will cover a total area of 278,709 m2 and will combine general hospital facilities with a trauma centre, and women’s and paediatric centres, with a total of 838 beds.
